Loving the Morticia hair at Z Spoke
The Brooklyn Dolls, because we have day jobs (we know, we’re sorry, too), couldn’t attend the göt2b/Z Spoke by Zac Posen preview for Fall Fashion Week 2011 , but we were fortunate enough to get the scoop on how the awesome hair (see above) was done by göt2b head stylist Larry Sims. The look was sort of like what I want my hair to be: dramatic and long and smooth, but instead it usually ends up, well, not looking like that. But here is perhaps where I (and you) should just take notes:
After spraying göt2b Rockin’ It Encore Fresh Dry Shampoo, the models’ hair was parted down the center and barrel-curled to create loose waves, which were sprayed in place with the line’s Rockin’ It Encore Hold Hairspray. Granted, I don’t have time to curl my hair every morning, but I could definitely get into the dry shampoo, especially if it’s as lightweight as Sims claims.
I’m also a big fan of the makeup here–yes, a little Halloween– but that’s really not a bad thing, especially in moderation. This is what fall should be: dark, gloomy romance. Kudos, Zac Posen.
